craftmanThe Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosts an exhibition of graphics with the symbolic name “Renaissance”. It features more than 300 works from the fund of Directorate of art exhibitions and private art collection of the famous collector A.Nazarov.

High craftsmanship and excellence of rendition, perfect lines of the works of senior generation is fascinating – classics of easel and book graphics, drawings and watercolors. Their works are priceless heritage, milestones in the history of national art schools and professional skills.

Such contemporary graphic artists, as M.Sadykov, A.Mamajanova, F.Kagarov A. Bobrov, I.Vakhitov, Lee dynasty, R.Azizov, Nuriddin and Asliddin Kalanovs and others present their works at the exhibition. In addition, the exhibition includes graphic works by artists working primarily in the fields of painting and sculpture. The younger generation is represented by T.Fadeeva, V.Nechayeva, G.Ibragimov, V.Khapov, R.Ziyadullaev, I.Sandler and others.

– This exposition is long-awaited one. Masters of different generations clearly show the development of graphic art, graphic artist Muhammad Fozili says. – Etching, lithograph, xylography, monotype, original drawing, watercolor, pastel – all of diversity of styles and genres is represented. The exhibition is so broad that to become familiar with the works almost you can not explore everything in a single visit. You can arrange tours of individual epochs, writers and technicians. In addition, it contains works that are not often seen in museums and exhibition halls, which guarantees showing intense interest of art lovers.
