The meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani began in a narrow format.
During the negotiations, current issues of cooperation between the two countries were considered. The sides exchanged views on the issues of regional and international importance, in particular, countering terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking, strengthening security in Central Asia.
The negotiations are being held in a friendly and constructive spirit.
