Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan M.Yerniyazov, on the eve of the Day of Memory and Honor, visited participants of the World War II living in Nukus, presented them holiday gifts.
– We are immensely grateful to the President of our country for the attention and care for us, the participants of the war, – said veteran of war and labor Nurilla Abdullayev. – May there never be a war anywhere, may all live peacefully and happily.
Songs of the war years performed by artists of Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater named after Berdakh, Karakalpak State Theater of Young Spectator named after Sapar Khodjaniyazov, as well as masters of art gave a special spirit to the event.
