The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the delegation of Hungary led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Laszlo Szabo to discuss issues of cooperation in the field of higher education, reports the press service of the Ministry.
At the meeting it was noted that the Hungarian party is planned allocation of 30 scholarships for the citizens of Uzbekistan in universities of Hungary on the interested areas. Three-year-scholarship-program supposes the preparation of bachelors, masters and doctoral students with cover of all costs except international flight tickets.
It is reported that Uzbek students can join the scholarship program of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO UN), for which training is also carried out in Hungary.
At the meeting the sides discussed issues of establishing direct contacts between universities of Uzbekistan and Hungary.
