And therefore, Uzbektelekom is carrying out a range of measures to develop telecommunications in regions of the country.
Modern fibre-optic technologies are being introduced. More than 2 thousand km of fibre-optic communication lines were laid last year alone. Their overall length is 22.3 thousand km now.
