Inha University in Tashkent to admit 80 students to the Faculty of Logistics

As we reported earlier in 2016-2017 academic year Inha University in Tashkent opens a new faculty of logistics. At a press conference held in the capital, it was reported that 80 students will be trained in this area, and the university is going to admit 330 people. In addition, representatives of the institution said that applicants who do not have time to pass IELTS exam, can participate in the TOEFL test, which will be held on June 25 at Inha University in Tashkent.

Department of Logistics was opened in view of the fact that Uzbekistan pays great attention to the development of transport and logistics, as well as the existing high demand for professionals of this industry. During the meeting, the leadership of the university noted that the training program of the faculty will be based on such professional modules such as international logistics, supply chain management (SCM), freight management systems, air, rail, and others. The knowledge gained in the institution, allow students not only to find a job in the major international and domestic companies, but also to open their own business related to logistics.

In order to become a student of this faculty, students must pass an exam in mathematics, as well as they need to have IELTS certificate with band score not less than 6.0 points or TOEFL – not less than 75 points. Training on the new faculty will be carried out on a contract basis, but 5 best students on the basis of the university entrance exam will be provided with benefits in the form of full or partial exemption from tuition fees in the first semester of the academic year. But in the second semester these scholarships will be given to those 5 students, who have the highest scores on the results of the first semester.
