The sixth international industrial forum, “Uzbekistan Industrial Forum – 2014”, has opened at Tashkent’s Uzexpocenter. The gathering contains six international specialized exhibitions.
The forum is organized by the company IEG Uzbekistan with official support from the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources, the Trade and Industry Chamber, the state stock company Uzavtoyul, the Uzkimyosanoat state stock company, the chief department for fire safety of the Ministry of Interior, the Institute of Energy and Automatics of the Academy of Sciences as well as the hokimiyat (mayor’s office) of the city of Tashkent.
It was said at the opening ceremony of the forum that all production industries, including the metallurgical, metalworking, mining, chemical, machine building sectors, the manufacturing of specialized machinery and others, have been advancing steadily and improving in our country under the leadership of President Islam Karimov. The measures being taken to execute the resolutions of the head of our state “On Priorities in the Development of Manufacturing Industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2011-2015”, signed 15 December 2010, have been facilitating the growth in production volumes of such high-tech produce as freight and specialized machines, grain combines, compressors, voltage transformers, storage batteries, cable and conductor goods.
This year’s international forum has comprised specialized expositions like “UzMetalMash” (metallurgy, metalworking, mechanical engineering), “UzSpecTechExpo” (specialized machinery and components), “UzMiningExpo” (technologies and equipment for the mining industry), “UzChemPlastExpo” (chemical industry, production and reprocessing of plastic materials and polymers), “UzSecureExpo” (safety technologies and security means), “UzAutomationExpo” (industrial automation, information technologies and software).
In excess of 50 enterprises from Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Iran, Turkey, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the forum.
The expositions of the international industrial forum are represented by leading enterprises specializing in projecting, construction and commissioning industrial automation installments, certain components and complexes in mining, metallurgical and energy sectors. In addition, visitors may get familiar with technologies, equipment and specialized machinery of both domestic and foreign production. Thus, the local exponent of the JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan has presented a lineup of freight and specialized machinery of more than 50 titles meeting high international standards. The pit-run dump trucks, concrete mixers, auto cranes, platforms for drilling rigs, installations for cementing the wells, prime movers, household/communal and other specialized machinery of the domestic manufacturer is displayed on the open yard of the exposition center.
Especially significant is the participation in the exhibition of such major and renowned enterprises in the mining world as the AZIAGIDROMASH Ltd. (Uzbekistan), the FAMUR stock company (Poland) and others.
The international exhibitions also host manufacturers of steelmaking furnaces, galvanized metal, grinding lathes, milling-and-centering machines, control and measuring devices, items of firm and heavy float. Among them are the Center of Welding Technologies (Uzbekistan), KORLOY (South Korea), and SPECTRO Analytical Instruments GmbH (Germany).
Exhibits also include the latest technologies applied in providing for safety of equipment operation and the security of the servicing personnel. They could be spotted at the stands of companies Ages Communications and Newmax Technology (Uzbekistan), Caribbean Trading, Co. LLC (UAE), Escorts International (Pakistan).
At the exhibition of chemical industry, production and reprocessing of plastic materials and polymers, particularly appealing for visitors were the companies “Zavod Makhsus Polimer” JV (Uzbekistan), NETZSCH-GERATEBAU GmbH (Germany) and others.
A range of enterprises have presented control and measuring devices, instruments for calculation of power resources, automated systems of management and systems of integrated safety of buildings.
“Uzbekistan Industrial Forum-2014” is to last three days and to include a seminar on high-strength and wear-resistant steels for the mining industry, as well as a presentation of the integrated Eurasian electronic trade platform Teclot.com.
