First International Tournament dedicated to the memory of Pakhlavon Makhmud will be held in Khorezm region, and participants will compete for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The International Tournament, which will be held from June 29 to July 1, gathers more than a hundred athletes and international judges from almost 20 countries. The winners will receive valuable prizes.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the I International Tournament will also be attended by well-known and respected artists of Uzbekistan.
The Regional Department for Tourism Development will organize excursions, events and concert programs for guests during the tournament in order to demonstrate tourism potential, historical architectural monuments, attractions, traditions and customs of local population.
According to the State Committee for Tourism Development, within the framework of this tournament, Khorezm’s Mamun Academy held a training workshop on rules and requirements of the competition and other issues related to the tournament.
