IT MINISTRY HOSTS MEETING WITH VICE-PRESIDENT OF WEBSTER UNIVERSITY

The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications hosted a meeting with Vice-President of Webster University (USA) for academic affairs, international campuses and initiatives, Peter Maher on June 28.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for development of cooperation between Webster University and Tashkent University of Information Technologies in training personnel in the field of information technologies. In particular, mutual interest in partnership in such areas as establishment of new academic programs for students, exchange of students and teachers through the international campuses of Webster University, conduct of joint scientific research, etc. has been expressed.

It was noted that expansion of cooperation with Webster University in the field of personnel training will contribute to qualitative training and professional development of ICT specialists at the level of international standards.

Founded in 1915, Webster University is located in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Webster is a private, non-profit university with approximately 17,000 students in campuses in the United States, as well as international campuses located in Europe, Asia and Africa.
