The official opening ceremony of Uzbekistan’s first Technological Park of software products and information technologies took place in Tashkent. All conditions are created here for local startups to realize even the most ambitious ideas and projects.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan, local IT companies and programmers, startupers, journalists and bloggers.
One of the best specialists of Software Technology Parks of India was involved as a consultant for applying the best practices of India in development of technology parks and supporting software developers. He has many years of experience in management and development of similar centers and infrastructures. Currently STPI has already opened and supports the work of 57 technology parks in India.
It should be noted that a number of tax and customs privileges and preferences will be provided to residents of the first IT Park in Uzbekistan. Necessary modern infrastructure is created for them, equipped with a convenient coworking center.
