Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) received right to administer TOEFL iBT® tests from ETS and became a Certified Test Administration Site (CTAS) for TOEFL iBT®.
TOEFL® (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers. The test results are accepted by over 9,000 colleges and universities in 130 countries.
It is worth to mention that perspective students of Inha University in Tashkent or several other branches of foreign universities in Tashkent should submit a certificate of TOEFL or IELTS in order to enroll to the university.
Director of Innovations and Industry Cooperation Center of Inha University in Tashkent Sandjar Saidkhodjaev commented: “We are glad that our university received an official status of CTAS. Within the cooperation with the ETS, IUT will administer TOEFL iBT® tests.”
“Taking into account high demand to English language exams before university entrance examinations, IUT creates additional opportunity to prospective students to take exam in time and enroll to the universities,” he said.
“TOEFL is required in many foreign internship programmes at the institutions in over 130 states, where all studies are conducted in English. Some scientific and professional certification programmes also require TOEFL from their candidates,” Saidkhodjaev added.
First TOEFL iBT® at IUT will take place on 18 June and 25 June.
