Inha University in Tashkent will not organize own English language exams this year and the prospective students should obtain IELTS or TOEFL iBT on time.
According to statistics of Inha University in Tashkent, most prospective students submit their documents to the university in last moment – several days before the end of admission campaign, due to waiting on receiving college or lyceum diplomas. As a result, many of them fail to register to IELTS or TOEFL iBT on time.
Last year, IUT organized three IUT English exams for those prospective students, who could not register to IELTS exam on time. This year, there will be NO IUT ENGLISH exams! Instead, IUT will organize two additional IELTS exams. Prospective students do not have to wait for their college or lyceum diplomas and register to IELTS closed exam sessions – BY 15 APRIL 2016 TO THE FIRST SESSION AND BY 16 MAY 2016 TO THE SECOND SESSION. Vice Head of Admissions of IUT, Rukhsora Rakhmatova said: “These two IELTS closed sessions, organized in cooperation with the British Council in Uzbekistan, are prospective students’ last chance to obtain IELTS certificate, due to other IELTS sessions are fully booked until August, according to data from British Council.”
