Metropolitan sports complex “Uzbekistan” hosted the fights of second match of the first cycle within the tournament APB (AIBA Pro Boxing) in the weight category up to 60 kg.
In the course of central fight of the evening, our compatriot Khurshid Tadjibaev stepped into the ring against Russian boxer Dmitry Polyansky and won a landslide victory with a score of 3:0. Thus, the Uzbek boxer has won a ticket to the Olympics-2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
Another three fights passed for ranking points. Irishman David Joyce fought with the representative of Brazil Robson Konseykao, and was defeated by brazilian boxer by technical knockout in the second round. Charlie Suarez of the Philippines won the Italian Domenico Valentino and Artur Bril of Germany lost to Chita Shafiq from Benin.
