Kurash Development was discussed at the ISSA session

The Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) announced adopting a revised strategic framework for promoting sports development in 57 member states at its regular session in Tirana.

Over three days, representatives of national Olympic committees, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Olympic Movement, and non-governmental non-profit organizations discussed the strategic goals of ISSA.

Four strategic goals have been adopted that will determine sports development in countries. They include increasing the prestige of sports, improving the condition of sports facilities, improving methods of training athletes, using innovations, and taking into account the values ​​of member countries.

The President of the International Kurash Association, Haider Farman, and the Head of the International Relations Department of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Kamoliddin Ergashev, who took part in the session, discussed with ISSA representatives the kurash competitions that will be held as part of the Islamic Solidarity Games.

The participants also discussed preparations for the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in Riyadh from November 7 to 21. Saudi Arabia, which hosted the first games in 2005, is preparing to host the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games this year.
