On the pages of the Kuwaiti newspaper “An-Nahar” published a series of materials on contemporary socio-political and socio-economic development of our country.
For example, in the article “The experience of Uzbekistan and international standards” positively assessed the experience gained in the country to ensure the labor rights of citizens, stimulate labor demand, expand social protection and social dialogue.
Reportedly made more than 200 laws and regulations aimed at strengthening the role and importance of civil society institutions in addressing major socio-economic problems of the population. Among them – the laws “On trade unions, rights and guarantees of their activity”, “On Public Associations in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “On NGOs” and Labor Code.
Special attention is given to the publication of the Decree on additional measures for implementation in the years 2014-2016 ratified by conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO). It is noted that the package of measures includes 40 items, which were divided into five areas.

It is noted that since the beginning of the year within the framework of the investment program 53 new projects launched worth more than 4,8 billion USD, 434 production facilities commissioned.
