Labour Minister receives outgoing South Korean envoy

Minister of Labour of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Lee Wook-heon.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Lee Wook-heon is wrapping up his mission in Uzbekistan. Envoy said that the cooperation between South Korea and Uzbekistan is exemplary.

The diplomat said that two states are not planning to stop on achievement. He said that the cooperation between two states are developing in such spheres as energy, automobile, textile, finance, ICT and many others.

About 400 Korean companies are operating in Uzbekistan, which created over several thousand jobs and spread advanced technologies and know-how.

Envoy added that the countries are also cooperating in creation of the centers of professional training. Currently, such center works in Tashkent. Similar centers will be created in Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, Urgench and Qoqand.
