In Jizzakh, the regional phase of the “Adolat bilimdonlari [knowledgeable people of Adolat]” contest has been conducted, devoted to the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the country’s Constitution.

The contest was arranged by the regional council of the Adolat social-democratic party of Uzbekistan. 11 students who had qualified in earlier phases of the contest took part in its regional phase.

It has been said that in this country special attention is paid to raising the law awareness and political culture of young people, to encouraging their initiative and creative potential and to increasing their ability to think independently.

In accordance with the rules of the contest, its participants displayed their knowledge about the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the country’s laws, youth rights and the party’s programme goals and tasks.

A student of the Jizzakh college of law, Shahboz Ergashev, achieved first place and obtained the right to participate in the republican phase of the contest.

A student of the Zomin district agricultural vocational college, Bobur Khojamqulov, took second place, and a student of the Dostlik district medical college, Mahliyo Abdullayeva, took third place.
