The resolution of the Government of Uzbekistan of 1 April 2016 amended the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures on further improvement of the mechanism of regulation of export of fruits and vegetables, potatoes, melons and grapes”.
Starting from 1 July 2016, according to the amendments, the implementation of the export of fruits and vegetables, potatoes, melons and grapes (HS code 07-08) is allowed with the use of vehicles belonging to legal and natural persons of the Republic of Uzbekistan, having the license for international carriage of goods by road.
Prior to this, the export was allowed only through railway and air transport.
