International Folk Music Festival “Buyuk Ipak Yuli” (The Great Silk Road) will be held in Margilan on July 11-13. Starting from this year, the festival will be held every 2 years in summer.
The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Culture and the Khokimiyat of Fergana region. The festival’s program includes competitions in art of singing, art of dance and national ancient folk instrumental art.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the winners of the festival will be awarded cash prizes.
