As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a regular meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Tashkent on August 10-17, 2018.
At the meeting, the results of joint field topographic and geodetic activities on certain sections of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan state border were considered and an agreement was reached on their continuation.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Following the negotiations, a Protocol was signed.
