On November 2, 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has played host to a meeting with the Head of the core team of the Mission of observers from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (ODIHR OSCE) for observation of presidential elections in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Peter Tejler, reports the press-service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the sides discussed the organizational issues related to the formally opening an election observation mission of the OSCE ODIHR in Uzbekistan.
