July 27, 2016 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov during a visit to Saudi Arabia and held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Adel al-Jubeir.
During the meeting the sides discussed topical issues of the Uzbek-Saudi relations, exchanged views on the agenda of the forthcoming session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (CFM OIC) in Tashkent.
Minister Adel al-Jubeir praised the vision and approaches of Uzbekistan in relation to the country’s presidency priorities in the Council of Foreign Ministers the organization, which combined the slogan “Education and awareness – the path to peace and creation.”
The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia noted the interest of the parties to the progressive development of bilateral cooperation in various fields and success of the upcoming 43rd Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC session in Tashkent.
