At the Ministry of Economy it was held a meeting with Mr. Choi Jonghun appointed as the new head of the World Bank in the Republic of Uzbekistan in late November of this year.
Mr. Choi Jonghun as the new head of the World Bank in the Republic of Uzbekistan replaced Mr. Takuya Kamata, who worked in Uzbekistan last 4 years.
During the meeting it was discussed the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the World Bank, as well as the implementation of joint projects. The talks confirmed the presence of mutual interest to further deepen cooperation in various fields, including joint work on promising projects related to the promotion of economic and social progress, the development of modern industry and infrastructure.
