Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the President of Vatel Business School in Hospitality and Tourism Management Alain Sebban, in Nimes, France.
This meeting was organized to establish partnership and achieve practical results in attracting advanced foreign experience in training highly qualified personnel in tourism sector of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the French side demonstrated conditions for education, the activity of the hotel complex and the restaurant belonging to the Vatel Group, as well as the mechanism for applying theoretical knowledge of students in practice. Prospects of establishing partnership between the educational institution and the newly established Silk Road International Tourism University in Samarkand were also discussed.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development, following the meeting, the sides agreed to further discuss specific partnership conditions, including in the sphere of professional development of the teaching staff, as well as involvement in training programs.
