On September 29, 2021, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farkhod Arziyev met with members of the CIS Long-term Observer Mission to observe the upcoming Presidential Elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan on October 24, 2021, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
It was noted that since September 29, 2021, the headquarters of the CIS Observer Mission has started working. Confidence was expressed that the Mission will fully fulfill all the tasks assigned to it.
The CIS delegation was provided with information about the reform processes in the country, as well as the conditions created for the participation of Uzbekistan citizens abroad in voting.
