The Namangan regional employment directorate jointly with the Turakurgan district hokimiyat (governorate), the district prosecutor’s office and the district council of the Uzbekistan youth union have conducted a job fair.
The event was held at the Turakurgan vocational college of industry. 200 establishments and enterprises working in this district and Namangan took part in the job fair. They offered more than 1,000 vacancies.
The hokim (governor) of the district, G.Murodhujayev; the chief of the regional employment directorate, B.Vohidov; and others said that in this country special attention was paid to ensuring employment and raising the wellbeing of the population by creating new jobs. Consistent work is being done in this area in Namangan region, particularly in Turakurgan district.
Employers held conversations with participants in the job fair and provided detailed information about their enterprises and existing vacancies.
“Our enterprise specializes in the production of men’s suits. Recently we put a workshop into operation, and therefore a need arose at our enterprise for an additional workforce. At this enterprise, we offer 100 vacancies,” says A.Muhiddinov, the chief of the Tekstil libos LLC and young entrepreneur.
At the event, 304 people were given job placement documents. Legal advice was provided for 130 people. More than 40 people will be doing paid social work.
