The hokim (governor) of Navoiy region, Qobil Tursunov, has met a group of unemployed young people and those with initiative and innovative ideas and desiring to start entrepreneurial activities.
The meeting with the regional hokim took place in the form of open dialogue. Young people brought up such issues as the development of entrepreneurship and the use of various privileges.
During the meeting, proposals on arranging young entrepreneurs’ business trip to the People’s Republic of China and on establishing a special foundation for supporting innovative ideas of young people of Navoiy were approved.
“We have moved to a multi-storey apartment house in the town of Navoiy. I have submitted a project of building a pre-school day care establishment in Karmana district where I lived previously. Today there is great demand in the region for such modern educational facilities. Officials approved my initiative. Now we will start practical work,” says Azam Azizov.
