New enterprise begins work in Mirzachul district

In Jizzakh Region’s Mirzachul district, the Mirzachul Mega Sevinch state unitary enterprise has started work. This enterprise specializes in the production of light industry products.

This new enterprise began its work in an empty building located in the “Ghalaba (victory)” neighbourhood in the centre of the district. The enterprise specializes in the production of clothes for children and adults and also blankets and pillows as well as bedding.

In accordance with the district’s investment programme, 375 m soms of finance was spent for the implementation of this new project. 40 modern sewing machines were installed there.

In the making of products, local raw materials, specifically yarn and fabric produced by light industry enterprises in the region are used. There products are to be supplied to the internal market and to local social institutions.

“40 women and girls from low-income families have been provided with jobs. Good working conditions have been created. In future more jobs will be created through the expansion of production operations,” says Dilnoza Jorayeva, manager of the enterprise.

In accordance with the 2017 programme for the socio-economic development of the district, 68 economic projects have been implemented and 206 new jobs have been created to date.
