A joint Uzbekistan – American enterprise “Silverleafe BMB Agro Trade Group” has been established in Jizzakh region.
In March of this year, representatives of the American company “Silverleafe International” during their stay in Uzbekistan got acquainted with the investment climate of Jizzakh region, the possibilities of growing, processing and exporting agricultural crops.
At the regional khokimiyat meeting, representatives of American companies and Jizzakh entrepreneurs discussed in detail the issues of cooperation in cultivation, processing and export of agricultural crops. During the meeting between the American businessmen and the “BMB Trade Group” LLC operating in Uzbekistan, an agreement was reached on cultivation of cotton and other crops.
Uzbekistan – American joint venture “Silverleafe BMB Agro Trade Group” has been also created on the basis of this agreement. To implement this joint project, it is planned to attract investments worth $350 million in 2019-2025.
The new joint venture will carry out a full technological chain – from growing cotton to making cotton products. Currently, preparations are going on for the establishment of the joint venture.
