New rules for the universalization of professions and entrepreneurship have been established

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Regulations on the organization of vocational training for students in grades 10-11 of general secondary educational institutions, norma.uz informs.

According to the Regulations, the vocational training of pupils of the 10th-11th grades is an integral part of the system of continuing education, it is mandatory and free of charge. The term of professional training is 2 years. It is organized in educational and production complexes of lyceums, colleges and schools.

There, students are provided with professional knowledge, mastering the foundations of entrepreneurship, labor and professional skills, developing their professional abilities and qualities. Depending on the type of profession, on the basis of contracts concluded with organizations in the corresponding territory, practical classes can be organized.

The volume of vocational training is 408 hours for 2 academic years. At the end of each academic year, students will undergo 36 hours. In order to identify and control professional knowledge, the complex conducts current, interim, milestone and final controls.

Students who successfully graduated the complex are given a state-recognized diploma in professional qualification, which gives the right to work. For students who have not passed the final control, they are given the opportunity to return it again. Pupils who do not undergo a final final control receive a certificate of professional education instead of a diploma.

For the qualitative organization of vocational training, the standards for the provision of training and production facilities have been approved, as well as the program for their equipping in 2018-2020.
