As reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry, on 24 January, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Jan Bory.
The Ambassador handed the copy of his credentials.
During the conversation, the sides discussed current issues of the Uzbek-Slovak relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
As it was noted, the sides have significant potential for increasing mutual trade, supplying competitive products and in this regard, are ready to promote business contacts between business representatives of Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
At the meeting, some international and regional issues were also discussed.
