This week the second remote scientific and practical conference devoted to the role of the native language in the teaching of foreign languages in Uzbekistan are conducted in this week. Its organizers are the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the editorial board of the electronic scientific and methodological journal and the Internet portal “Inostrannye yazyki v Uzbekistane” (Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan).
Within the framework of the plenary session, the keynote speeches were made by the professor of the Tashkent State University of Foreign Languages Mirabbos Iriskulov, the expert from the USA Nancy Eccles, the head of the TICA office in Uzbekistan Suleiman Kiziltoprak, the head of the Uzbek language and literature university department Nozliya Normurodova, the director of the editorial staff Fledu.uz Gulmira Shukurova.
In total, within the framework of the conference, about 30 best scientific articles are presented in the form of video and audio reports, which covered five areas.
On Wednesday, a round table on “The peculiarities of teaching foreign languages to the Uzbek audience” was carried out on-line.
