On April 20, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Head of the state expressed sincere gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for the directed message and participation of a representative Russian delegation in the solemn events on the completion and launching of the Kandym Gas Processing Complex that took place in Bukhara region on April 19.
It was emphasized that high-tech production facility for deep processing of natural gas, created jointly with LUKOIL Company, is another clear example of strengthening relations of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
During the conversation, views were exchanged on the issues of further expansion and deepening of Uzbek-Russian multifaceted relations in the context of implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
Current aspects of regional and international policy were also considered.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev reaffirmed the invitation to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to pay a state visit to Uzbekistan. The invitation was accepted with gratitude.
