National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi in October organizes traditional scientific and spiritual-educational events.
Thus, in the small conference hall of National Library on 11th and 30th October will be held seminar Speaking English at Home from the British Council in Uzbekistan.
On October 21 will be organized a demonstration of film “The ancient manuscripts”.
Seminar on “Problems in the work of school libraries” will be held on 22nd October. It is timed to the International Day of school libraries.
Conversation on the topic “Education of spiritually mature generation” will be held on 23rd October. On same day in hall “Creativity” will be opened a photo-book exhibition dedicated to the 110th anniversary of film director, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Nabi Ganiyev.
On October 24 will be held a creative meeting with musician Ruslan Shamsutdinov. On the same day the conference room of library will host a scientific-practical conference organized jointly with International Public Women’s Foundation “Woman of East”.
From 27th to 31st October in the main library of country will pass the annual Information Library Week Infolib Uzbekistan-2014.
It should be noted that to date, National Library of Uzbekistan registered 90404 users. Just in September, their number has increased to 4738, and just last month library was visited by 39260 readers.
