Open Air to be held in the cities of Fergana Valley

On June 20-26, 2018, the Open Air – Oltin Vodiy concerts will be held in four cities of Fergana Valley – Namangan, Andijan, Fergana and Kokand.

Open Air – Oltin Vodiy is a series of concerts in Fergana Valley. The project is a true journey through the most beautiful cities of the valley, where local audiences will enjoy the performances by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, famous singers, musicians led by conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.

As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development, the concerts will be held on the central squares at the modern theaters and ancient architectural monuments. In Namangan – on the square in front of the regional theater of musical drama and comedy named after Alisher Navoi, in Andijan – “Andijan Registan” park, in Fergana – on the square in front of the Theater and Concert Palace named after Islam Karimov and in Kokand – on the square in front of the Palace of Khudoyarkhan. Summer concert halls, designed for 1.5 thousand seats, will be built here. Scenes will be equipped with large screens and necessary lighting equipment, decorated in accordance with the theme of the event, and others.

The program of concerts is developed taking into account the peculiarities of the region where they will be held. It is interesting and diverse. It will feature the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky from the ballets “The Nutcracker” and “Swan Lake”, W.A. Mozart from the opera “The Magic Flute”, “Umid” by Enmark Salikhov, soundtracks for popular Uzbekistan films “Mahallada duv-duv gap” (The whole neighborhood talks about this), “Maftuningman” (I’m fascinated by you), “Duel under the plane tree”, medley from the Turkish series (Magnificent Century, Icerde), songs from the repertoires of Batyr Zakirov and Muslim Magomayev, Sh.Ramazanov’s song “Namangan apples”, folk dances Andijan Polka and Khorezm Lazgi and many others.
