Open innovations in Uzbekistan’s banking sector

Open innovations in the banking sector of Uzbekistan were discussed at the regular session of the International Press Club with participation of representatives of the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center, banks and fintech companies, foreign experts.
The first fintech-lab in Uzbekistan, allowing to create and test new technologies in banking and financial sector, was presented to the participants.
– We, in cooperation with foreign experts, have developed a secure insurance system, – says Advisor for Fintech of Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center Nargis Dusmatova. – It will allow to find a solution to a number of problems and issues in the banking sector. We have established cooperation with various banks, insurance companies, and users of financial services. We are also working on introduction of a new cyber defense system, establishment of an effective partnership with foreign experts and training our employees.
At the event, information was provided on the financial marketplace, that is, a system that will unite users and service providers in a single information space and provide a number of services aimed at improving the speed and efficiency of financial transfers.
