In the park of culture named after Abdulla Kadiri it was held the first Republican festival doira players. It was initiated by the Association of doira players of the country, as well as a number of creative organizations.
As part of this event it was also held a competition among ensembles of percussion instruments and soloists-doira players.
Competitions and arts festivals contribute to the spirituality of the younger generation, revealing and comprehensive support of the gifted. Participants demonstrated their mastery. Viewers enjoyed with memorable performances of creative groups of Ferghana, Samarkand and Khorezm regions.
Doira – one of the most popular percussion instruments of the Uzbek people. Musician beats drumming, accompanied by the melodious sound of the Rings. In the hands of a skilled artist, it can produce a gentle sound, resembling the rustling of the wind, or powerful, that the spring thunder.
During the event a gala concert was conducted with the participation of famous artists and singers.
As a result of the winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts of the festival.
