Improving the process of training highly qualified personnel, capable to implement reforms aimed at democratization of the state power and administration, development of civil society, and liberalization of economy at the level of modern requirements have been discussed at the press-conference held at the Tashkent Academy of State administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Academy has been set a priority task in recent years on selecting high potential specialists and bringing up modern personnel specialized in “Government administration”.

Speakers noted that government administration need leaders with practical skills of systemic and analytical thinking, strategic planning, ability to find optimal solutions under extraordinary conditions, initiative and leadership qualities, as well as feeling of responsibility and conscientious performance of their duties.

Modern methods of management training are being widely introduced into the educational process with the active use of advanced educational and information technologies.

The Academy also has conducted research work on state governance and the study of international experience in this field.

For the purpose of organizing training and educational processes in accordance with international requirements, enhancing its prestige at the international arena, as well as for strengthening international cooperation the Academy invited Kim Hong-Gab from South Korea for the position of the first vice rector-consultant.

Management training holds a leading position in the process of training management personnel. That explains the prevalence of such subjects as management of economy, social spheres and regions in the academic process.

The faculty of the Academy constitutes mostly young professionals with scientific potential who had graduated from prestigious universities in South Korea, Japan, England, Germany and France.
