The National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi opened a photo-book exhibition dedicated to the World Day of Museums.
According to the Library, the exhibition includes books, magazines, brochures and photos that introduce users to the known art galleries and museums around the world. There is also gathered information about the open-air museums, cities, museums and museums of modern possibilities.
On the pages of the photo book “O’zbekiston obidalari. Durdona bitiklar”, “100 great museums of the world”, “Open air museum”, “100 greatest palaces in the world”, “The Dutch genre painting of the XVII century in the Hermitage collection” and other visitors to see exhibits of museums – historical monuments, objects of applied art, architectural buildings of different ages, samples of material and spiritual culture, as well as the current activities of some museums.
