A group of women have been awarded honorary titles, orders and medals by the decree of the Head of the state of March 6 this year “On awarding on the occasion of International Women’s Day – March 8” for great achievements in development of the country, ensuring the wellbeing of people, raising healthy and harmoniously developed generation, strengthening the foundations of families and society. In addition, in accordance with the resolution of the President of March 4, 28 active girls of the country were awarded the Zulfiya State Prize.
On March 7, Tashkent hosted a festive event, where these high awards on the occasion of International Women’s Day were solemnly presented.
At the same time, “Mutabar Ayol” badges have been awarded to 287 women engaged in exemplary activities for protecting motherhood and childhood and educating young people in the spirit of patriotism.
The event was attended by women from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, representatives of various ministries and agencies, female diplomats, who are carrying out their mission in Uzbekistan, employees of international organizations’ representative offices.
The festive event ended with a colorful concert program.
