“Baraka meva sanoat service” LLC, operating in Chust district of Namangan region, organized an intensive garden for effective use of land with low fertility, harvesting export-oriented fruit and vegetable products.

Special attention in Uzbekistan is paid to implementation of projects aimed at harvesting, processing and export of agricultural products, including fruits and vegetables. The resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On additional measures of accelerated development of fruit and vegetable production in the Republic of Uzbekistan” of March 29, 2018, serves as an important guide to action on increasing production of export-oriented fruit and vegetable products.
The company started to operate in 2015 from exporting nuts, raisins and capers. Now, it occupies 308 hectares of land, where corn, sunflowers, beans, seed potatoes and tomatoes in greenhouses are grown. Cultivation of crops of different varieties is being carried out on 17 acres of trial plot. 32 people are provided with permanent jobs and more than 800 people are attracted to seasonal jobs.
Currently, a project worth 9.6 billion soums is being implemented, under which it is planned to plant 160 hectares of high-yielding nuts and harvest 4.6 thousand tons of nuts per year. As a result, 15 people will be employed. It is planned to harvest nuts worth 40.2 billion soums, 70 percent of which will be exported.
Presentation of projects was held on further development of fish farming, poultry farming, animal husbandry, sericulture and horticulture in 2018-2019, organization of lemonariums and mulberry plantations, improvement of water supply in arid areas, location of crops in the fields, released from cotton plant, further improving export potential of the region.
The Head of the state gave instructions to responsible persons on increasing the area of walnut plantations, training specialists in fish farming, development of potato seed production.
