President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid visited the State Museum of the Temurids History, where he got acquainted with various exhibits telling about Sahibkiran and his ancestors.
More than 5,000 exhibits, such as manuscripts belonging to Amir Temur and Temurids’ epoch, correspondence with various countries’ rulers, ancient coins, ceramic and copper products, ethnographic products, rare books, art works are stored in the museum.
The achievements of modern information technologies are widely used in the museum’s activities. Visitors can virtually visit the museum and become familiar with exhibits’ 3D-copies.
The distinguished guest was informed about Sahibkiran Amir Temur and Temurids’ dynasty, his role in the history of national and world statehood, contribution to science, art and culture.
