On November 10, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Imam Bukhari complex in Payarik district of Samarkand region.
Imam Bukhari International Research Center is being established at this complex at the initiative of the Head of our state.
The President got acquainted with Imam Bukhari complex, the concept of an international research center, other infrastructure facilities that will be built on this territory.
It is planned to build a tea house, trading points, a fountain and other necessary facilities on the territory of the complex. It is also planned to plant bushes and flower beds corresponding to local climatic conditions on both sides of the complex, based on landscape design.
The Head of our state paid special attention to the issue of creation of necessary conditions for visitors.
This center has a scientific and educational character, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. People who go to holy Hajj will come here. Therefore, it is necessary to create all conditions for visitors, to build private hotels. Conditions for studying the hadith will also be created here. This circumstance should be specially taken into account when implementing the project. In the future, the center should become an abode, propagating our sacred religion, an invaluable contribution of our ancestors to the development of hadith studies.
In accordance with the resolution on establishment of Imam Bukhari International Research Center of March 27, 2017, construction activities are currently being implemented here. The Higher School of Hadith Studies will also be built on the territory occupying 6 hectares. Offices for the study of the hadith, a library of manuscripts, a museum and others will be established in the building of the research center.
The Head of our state gave instructions for the construction of this center, taking into account the combination of traditions of national and modern architecture, using qualitative construction materials, development of an action plan on wide establishment of pilgrimage tourism.
