Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his Address to the parliament of the country noted that the main tasks of the embassies of Uzbekistan in foreign countries is the wide attraction of foreign investments and foreign tourists.
Let all the ambassadors hear, starting from the new year the methods of activity will change. If concrete proposals on investments will not be received every week, then we do not need such ambassadors. Tourism is also an investment. Let the foreign minister talk with the ambassadors twice a week, discuss how many tourists came, how many investments were attracted, what enterprises the ambassador visited, what products are available there, what technologies can be imported, said the President of our country.
The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic corps of our country all over the world through a video conferencing system.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of our country in China, South Korea and Turkey noted that cooperation with these countries has been intensified after the visits of the President of our country, and taking into account the assigned tasks, the activity of embassies is being organized on a new basis.
