President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on 24-26 March 2019 on the invitation of the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The visit program envisages meetings of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The agenda of the talks includes issues of further enhancement and consolidation of bilateral multi-dimensional cooperation, practical interaction in trade-economic, investment, innovation, banking-financial, cultural-humanitarian and other fields.
The two sides are also expected to exchange views on pressing issues in international and regional affairs.
Following negotiations, the parties are to adopt a Joint Statement of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, and sign bilateral documents on cooperation in the areas of investment and finance, renewable energy, industry and infrastructure development, agriculture, customs administration, labor resources, culture and other fields.
As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the state is anticipated to get familiar with Masdar City and visit a number of industrial, social and other facilities.
