Navoi region has a special place in the country due to its hardworking people, underground and land resources, and huge economic potential. Mining, metallurgy, chemical, food industry, power engineering, production of building materials is consistently developing in the region.
There are large industrial enterprises in the region. Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat, “Navoiyazot”, “Kyzylkumcement”, “Navoi Thermal Power Plant” joint-stock companies and “Elektrkimyozavodi” joint venture are among them.
The Head of the state, during his visit to the region on March 28, 2017, got acquainted with the progress of activities on socio-economic development. Over the past year, a colossal work was carried out in the region. This process is under the personal control of the Head of the state.
President of Uzbekistan began his trip to Navoi from visiting the limited liability company “Karmana golden eggs” in Karmana district. The project for its organization was presented to the President in March last year.
For the last period, its first stage has been implemented. 50 jobs are created in the poultry complex, designed for growing chickens. After 90 days, chickens will be sent for sale as layers.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked with the initiator of the project about his plans for the future. As it turned out, in 2019, it is planned to put into operation an incubation complex and a shop for preparation of eggs. 30 percent of production is planned to be exported, 100 people will be employed.
– A whole system for poultry farming has been launched, – the President said. – Now, it is necessary to set up harvesting eggs and organize their export.
