President’s New Year Greetings to the People of Uzbekistan

Dear compatriots!

Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you, all the multinational people of Uzbekistan, on the upcoming New Year.

I express my deepest respect and best wishes to all of you.

Through hard and tireless work, we have achieved significant results on the path of development in 2022. We have taken important steps in ensuring human interests, honor and dignity.

Despite the global crisis and the difficult situation in the world, the economy of Uzbekistan continues to grow.

Our skilled farmers have grown a rich harvest with selfless work.

Industry, construction, digital technology, and tourism are developing at an accelerated pace.

Cities and villages, our entire country are being transformed.

New jobs are being created, incomes are growing, and the standard of living of the population is rising.

Our talented youth increase the glory of Motherland in the international arena.

The role and importance of the mahalla institution in society are strengthening.

Most importantly, peace and tranquility, interethnic harmony and tolerance reign in our country.

The authority of Uzbekistan in the world community is increasing.

On this festive evening, I would like to once again express my gratitude to you, dear compatriots, to all our people for the success achieved.

Dear friends!

We have declared 2023 in our country as the Year of Human Care and Quality Education.

In the new year, we will step up work to ensure the rights and freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens.

We will create new conditions for our children to receive a quality education and upbringing, to grow up as harmoniously developed personalities.

The focus will be on all possible care for our esteemed veterans, women, and everyone who needs help.

An important priority for us will be the support of representatives of science and culture, medicine, teachers and mentors.

In a word, no one in our country will be left without the attention and care of society and the state. We will mobilize all the forces and opportunities for this.

Dear compatriots!

In these wonderful moments, once again, I sincerely congratulate all of you, all our people, on the New Year.

May the New Year bring health, happiness and prosperity to every family!

May our dear, beloved Uzbekistan prosper!

Happy New Year to you, my dears!

Shavkat MIRZIYOYEV,

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
