Presidents of Central Asian countries will meet in Kyrgyzstan

The fourth consultative meeting of the leaders of neighboring states over the past five years will be held on July 21 in the city of Cholpon-Ata on the shore of Issyk-Kul.

The Head of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev have already discussed preparations and the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

It is noted that all the leaders of the Central Asian countries accepted the invitation to take part in this event.

The summit officially called the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, is an annual regional meeting of the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev took the initiative to hold consultative meetings at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, held in New York in September 2017.
