Press briefing at Uzbekistan’s Embassy in India

On the eve of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Delhi holds a number of information events for mass media of India. About 50 representatives of leading Indian publications, TV channels, news agencies and online platforms attended the press briefing at Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission.
Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan I.Nematov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India F.Arziyev informed Indian mass media about importance of the upcoming state visit of the Head of Uzbekistan, dynamics of bilateral relations in regional and international issues, economic and trade relations. Special attention was also paid to cooperation in culture, cinematography, investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
At the press briefing, it was emphasized that the upcoming state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to India will be fruitful and productive in all respects and will open a new page in centuries-old traditionally friendly relations between the two nations.
A press briefing organized at the International Correspondents Club of South-East Asia was also devoted to the upcoming state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to India. Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Saifnazarov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments Sh.Burnashev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development U.Kasimkhodjayev and others answered correspondents’ questions accredited in Delhi foreign mass media on Uzbekistan – India trade and economic relations, investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, cooperation between the two countries in regional and international issues.
