Press-conference, devoted to activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ongoing reforms and innovations in cultural life of our country, plans for the future, was held in Tashkent.

Minister of Culture B.Sayfullayev and others noted that attention given by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to development of this sphere, serves as a basis for positive changes in development of national culture and art.

On the basis of normative-legal acts adopted in the sphere, activities of all theatres of our country were analyzed in detail, target programs for construction of new, reconstruction, overhaul and equipment of operating theatres were prepared.

Activities were studied and registration of local museums and exhibition institutions were carried out for further development of museums by the Republican Commission, formed in accordance with resolution of the Cabinet Ministries. Improvement of legislation in the sphere contributes to enhancement of museums’ activities, strengthening their infrastructure and material-technical base, increasing their tourism potential, training museum professionals, improving their skills, expanding the scale of scientific-applied research, as well as provides integration of museology and education.

Opportunities for deep studying acting skills were expanded at the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, and for studying maqom at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. Educational process in children’s music and art schools was organized in accordance with modern requirements. Consolidation of famous artists into schools contributes to further development of traditions of “master-apprentice”.

At the press-conference, participants were provided with detailed information about future plans of the Ministry of Culture.
